Why we built Cheerfold
It started with a farewell. A teammate everyone loved was leaving, and the “card” was a shared doc full of one-line goodbyes that all sounded the same — because everyone could see what the person above them wrote. The link was forgotten within a week.
We thought the people we work with deserve better. So we built Cheerfold: a way to collect private messages — written and on video — from the whole team, and deliver them as a flip-book keepsake that lasts, with a printable PDF you can actually hold.
What we believe
- Private beats public. Real messages happen when no one’s copying the note above.
- Faces and voices matter. Especially for remote teams, a 15-second video says a lot.
